I visited the Post Office only to assure that my envelope had been sent because my student loan provider stated that it wasn't received. I asked the clerk (the manager) if it were possible that the letter was still here. She stated "why would it still be here"? With an attitude as if I had just came in and blamed her or her subordinates. I responded by saying "possibly wasn't sent, human error or maybe had been dropped". She then explained her process on cleaning up and what her clerks do (with an attitude). I'm not sure what her problem is but it is very disappointing that you can't feel comfortable asking the Post Master questions about issues with your mail. Her attitude is so unwelcoming and a disgrace to public service. I'm sure she is good at her job when taking care of the place, but that's nothing if no one can ask her a question with-out her becoming so defensive.
